Fuelab Digital Fuel Delivery
has been hard at work developing their H/E Series of twin screw brushless fuel pumps with performance in mind.

The twin screw pumps utilize a DC brushless motor to trim current draw to much lower levels while not reducing the flow.

“These new pumps are incredibly efficient at pressures up to 125psi,” Brian Paltz says. “The model 47403 is our highest flowing one at 500 liters per hour at 45 psi. We have additional models as well depending on your needs and application.”

Their 47401 flows 250 liters per hour for their customers looking mainly for efficiency. At 350 liters per hour, their 47402 is good whether for daily driving or at the track at up to 850 hp.

Brushless pumps mean no motor brushes to wear out or corrode, and with a wet motor design, there are no dynamic shaft seals that can wear out. Their motors use powerful high flux density Neodymium rare earth magnets.

Speed control options include No Speed Control (full speed), PWM input signal (variable speed) and the 0-5v input signal (variable speed). The compact system can control up to 20 Amps and 16 Volts.

The screw pumps offer exceptional priming capabilities along with enhanced resistance to cavitation. Reduced cavitation can avoid a multitude of problems, including extreme noise and reduced efficiency.

The fuel pumps will work with gasoline, methanol and ethanol fuels, as well as diesel. They work with 12v and 16v electrical systems. These units do not require expensive voltage regulators or pump controllers.

“But, for those customers who already have a brushless pump in their vehicles now, we also recently developed our externally mounted electronic DC brushless fuel pump controllers,” Paltz says. “If you have a brushless pump in your vehicle now, you can use that to control it separately. It’s a little different than the factory stock stuff.”
